Here’s to Summer: Tasty But Less Sugary Drink Recipes

June 28, 2016

Your favorite summer beverage may be brimming with more calories than you think. Most Americans consume nearly 20 teaspoons of added sugars each day, which, according to the American Heart Association (AHA), is triple the recommended daily limit for women and double for men!

SPLENDA® Brand has teamed up with the AHA to inspire you to put down those full-calorie beverages, and choose a healthier lifestyle this summer and throughout the year. These drinks are the #1 source of added sugar in our diet, and by committing to “Sip Smarter” you can replace them with water and other no or low calorie drinks.

Taking added sugars into account, here are some easy, low added sugar drink recipes I recommend that are perfect for summer!
